Manuel, all'anagrafe Manuel Sanfilippo, è un cantautore, polistrumentista e co-produttore milanese. Il suo stile musicale si colloca nel dark-pop con influenze new soul. Dopo oltre un decennio di esperienza nella scena rock/metal con la band Anewrage – con la quale ha all'attivo due tour in UK e ha condiviso il palco con artisti del calibro di Linkin Park, Nothing But Thieves, Sum41 ed altri ancora -, nel 2020 dà vita al suo progetto solista con lo pseudonimo Mr.Saintphilip, pubblicando tre singoli in lingua inglese: "It Doesn't Matter", "Don't Bother" ed "On My Shoulders". Successivamente, si concentra sulla scrittura in italiano, debuttando con il nome d'arte Manuel e pubblicando a Luglio del 2023 il singolo "Ibisco", che lo consacra ufficialmente alla scena nazionale. Il brano riscuote un incredibile successo, portandolo a rilasciarlo anche nella versione "Piano Edition". Il 15 Aprile 2024 torna con "Metalli", una rinascita musicale che celebra l'unione oltre le differenze e fa da apripista al suo attesissimo debut album. Le sue canzoni sono una terapia per l'anima, il frutto di una profonda urgenza espressiva e di un mondo interiore che si esteriorizza in liriche eleganti avvolte da sonorità fresche e frizzanti. Raffinato, suggestivo e dotato di una timbrica dolce e potente al contempo, Manuel è una delle migliori promesse della nuova scena pop-rock italiana.
