Luker, pseudonimo di Luca Vernengo (Palermo, 9 dicembre 2000), è un cantautore italiano che, pur provenendo dal rap, negli ultimi anni ha dichiarato di volersi distaccare da quelle radici per esplorare nuovi generi musicali come il pop. Fin da bambino appassionato di musica, Luker inizia a scrivere testi d'autocelebrazione all'età di dodici anni, immergendosi nell'hip-hop urban tra freestyle e graffiti. Dopo quattro anni di scrittura senza riscontri concreti, decide di pubblicare i suoi lavori su YouTube grazie all'incontro con Andrzej Art, produttore musicale e amico di Luca. Il suo primo singolo d'amore, *Distance Love*, uscito nel 2015, raggiunge oltre 160.000 visualizzazioni sul canale YouTube dell'artista. Nel 2017 pubblica *Ricorderò*, che ottiene un grande successo radiofonico a Palermo, seguito da *Volare su due Ruote* (2018), un brano significativo per Luker in quanto affronta il tema della disabilità, ispirato dalla storia del suo fratello.
