Carlo Messinese nasce a San Severo, in provincia di Foggia, il 22 Luglio 1984. Comincia a scrivere a 16 anni le prime poesie, che si trasformano in canzoni, qualche anno dopo quando inizia a sentire il bisogno di esprimere i propri sentimenti con la musica. Quella voglia irrefrenabile di cantare, con il passare degli anni, lo porta ad esibirsi in vari locali in un duo acustico, chitarra e voce. La maturità artistica di Carlo viene raggiunta a Maggio del 2023 quando scrive e produce il suo primo vero inedito “Meraviglia”, distribuito sui Digital stores il giorno 18 dello stesso mese. Da quel momento si innesca una vera e propria reazione a catena che lo porta ad esibirsi su vari palcoscenici e a partecipare ad altrettanti concorsi canori dove ha molte soddisfazioni personali arrivando sul podio in tutti i concorsi a cui partecipa: premio critica e 3° posto al festival di Apricena, giudicato dal noto compositore di varie serie televisive RAI, Carmine Padula; secondo posto al festival di Torremaggiore intitolato ad Augusto Daolio, voce dei Nomadi; vincitore de il BORGO TALENT dove, oltre al primo posto, ottiene la produzione di un brano inedito da parte di un etichetta discografica di Foggia e la partecipazione al prossimo Sanremo Doc. Tutto questo accade nell’arco di tre mesi, periodo in cui partecipa ad eventi culturali e benefici tra cui il centro polivalente Emma Francavilla di San Giovanni Rotondo dove spesso ha il piacere di esibirsi per ragazzi diversamente abili. Nel frattempo scrive altri brani non ancora pubblicati oltre a “meraviglia” dove si parla del rapporto tra padre e figlio, le preoccupazioni di un padre per un figlio che sta crescendo, ma anche di un grande amore incondizionato. Il suo ultimo singolo è FIABA, uscito il 20 Ottobre 2023, scritta per una ragazza a lui molto cara, con diverse abilità: – “Mi piace usare questo termine perché loro sono persone davvero speciali e con diverse abilità rispetto ad altri per il semplice motivo che amano senza avere un motivo preciso, senza un perché. Loro donano senza aspettarsi nulla in cambio e noi abbiamo molto da imparare da loro.”- Il 1 Dicembre viene rilasciato il nuovo singolo “Tu n’es jamais parti”: la storia di un padre che, giovanissimo, lascia tutto per trasferirsi all’estero in cerca di un futuro migliore per la sua famiglia. Una storia di soprusi, sfruttamento e razzismo nei confronti dei migranti destinati a lavori duri e pericolosi che inesorabilmente portano a gravi malattie spesso mortali. Il brano, scritto e interpretato da Carlo Messinese, è autobiografico ed è raccontato dal figlio, Fabrizio Lombardi che ha voluto dedicare, in qualità di testimone, un ricordo al padre scomparso dopo molti anni trascorsi a lavorare nelle fabbriche di ferro in Belgio. I ritornelli e le strofe finali sono state scritte in lingua francese per rimarcare il vissuto dei protagonisti e interpretate da entrambi gli autori. Dal 26 Gennaio del 2024 sarà disponibile, su tutti gli store, il nuovo singolo “Niente” sempre distribuito da Maledetta Records in collaborazione con Sony Music Publishing.
