Hello, I'm Johnny Cash
One night I had a backstage pass
To a Willie Nelson show
There were wackoes and weirdoes and dingbats and dodoes
And athletes and movie stars and David Allan Coe
There was leather and lace and every minority race
With a backstage pass to the Willie Nelson show
Kristofferson got an offer for a movie
Promoters closed another deal or two
Waylon got a call from his son Shooter
And he went home the minute he was through
I moved with the mob at intermission
To the green room where you see who you can see
There were has-been's and would-be's and never-were's
Paupers, punks and millionaires and me
And there were wackoes and weirdoes and dingbats and dodoes
And athletes and movie stars and David Allan Coe
There was leather and lace and every minority race
With a backstage pass to the Willie Nelson show
Hell's Angels blocked the traffic to the building
In order for the beer truck to come through
And waitin' in the wings to sing with Willie
Were hopeful stars of flickering magnitude
There was a singer Willie knew back in the fifties
Who once paid him fifty dollars for a song
There were women who once did and some who still would
I heard one ask, "Did Connie come along?"
And there were wackoes and weirdoes and dingbats and dodoes
And athletes and movie stars and David Allan Coe
Leather and lace and every minority race
With a backstage pass to the Willie Nelson show
I wish, you could've been there
But maybe you were
Johnny Cash (Kingsland, Arkansas, February 26, 1932 – Nashville, Tennessee, September 12, 2003) was an American singer, musician, and actor widely considered one of the most influential figures in country music. Born into a poor farming family in the Deep South, Cash began singing in his local church and listening to country music on the radio. After serving in the military in Germany, where he learned to play guitar, he moved to Memphis and launched his musical career. His unique style, characterized by a deep baritone voice and often autobiographical lyrics that addressed themes of poverty, social justice, and addiction struggles, quickly made him popular. Among his most famous songs are "Ring of Fire", "I Walk the Line", "Folsom Prison Blues", and "A Boy Named Sue". Cash collaborated with numerous artists, including June Carter Cash, his wife from 1968 until his death. He won numerous awards, including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997. His music continues to be enjoyed by generations of fans worldwide.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
