Alessandro Mannarino, known professionally as Nitro, is an Italian rapper born in Vicenza in 1993. He was introduced to hip hop culture through freestyle rap battles. In 2007, he made his debut at the Tecniche Perfette competition, reaching the regional semi-finals. He began his musical career as part of the Gioventù Bruciata collective, alongside MC Moova and producer CeCe DuB. With them, he released the mixtape *Born2Burn* in 2010. Over the following years, he continued to participate in freestyle battles, winning the regional stage of Tecniche Perfette twice and reaching the national final twice, always placing among the top four. In 2014, he released his first studio album, *Il mio nome è Nitro*, followed by *La mia storia* in 2016. Nitro is known for his intricate rhymes and introspective approach to social and personal themes.
