Baustelle is an Italian indie rock band formed in 1996 in Montepulciano, Tuscany. The original lineup included Francesco Bianconi (vocals, guitar), Rachele Bastreghi (guitar, backing vocals) and Claudio Brasini (drums). After several changes in the lineup, since 2005 the band has stabilized with this same formation. Baustelle are known for their sound characterized by melancholic atmospheres, poetic lyrics and complex arrangements that blend elements of alternative rock, folk and electronic music. Among the most representative songs of the group are "Il cielo è un posto meraviglioso", "La fine del mondo" and "Sotto il sole". Their debut album, "Baustelle", dates back to 2001, followed by other successes such as "L'amore è una cosa strana" (2004) and "Made in Italy" (2008). Baustelle have participated in numerous Italian and European music festivals, achieving great public success.
