"Maledisci il Signore e muori!"
"Se accettiamo il bene, dobbiamo prendere anche il male
il Signore dà, il Signore toglie, sia benedetto il nome del Signore"
E infine Job apre la bocca e grida:
"Che tu sia maledetto giorno che mi hai partorito,
che sia un giorno di tenebra, il cielo lo ripudi
gli neghi il lume della luce
Perchè ginocchia venirmi incontro?
Perchè mammelle vi ho succhiato?
Perchè la luce è data a chi pena?
Perchè la vita a una gola amara?
