Umberto Antonio Tozzi (Rome, 1952) is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer and musician. Considered one of the most influential Italian songwriters of the 1980s, he has sold millions of records worldwide. His musical style is characterized by catchy melodies, romantic lyrics and pop-rock arrangements. Among his most famous successes are "Gloria", "Ti amo", "Il mio canto libero" and "Sere nere".
