Ascoltami
o Amore che io lo so
muovi tutto e muovi anche me
muovi le onde e poi le porti a riva
splendi le stelle,
preziose e belle
E io lo so
che tu sei fuoco
e vorrei io vorrei illuminasse anche me
ma tu sei il centro
sei sempre stato il centro
ah tu sei il tempo
il solo vero tempo che c'è
E tu ci sei lo so lo so in me lo so
oltre la mente mia contro ogni logica
ci sei
sei tu quel vento che, rialza gli uomini
dopo la tempesta
Ma io no
io no non so
però nel mio cuore ti cerco di più
su questa terra io sento il pianto e il fumo
dov'è l'amore se c'è mai stato amore
Ma tu ci sei lo so lo so in me lo so
oltre la mente mia sopra ogni logica ci sei
sei tu quel vento che, rialza gli uomini
dopo la tempesta
Oltre la mente mia
sopra ogni logica ci sei
ma nei miei sogni io,
io oggi non ti sento più
sei tu il respiro che, rialza gli uomini
attraversa il tempo, l'amore tuo per me
Sei tu il respiro che, rialza gli uomini
io lo so lo so
lo so
Translation:
You Are There
Listen to me
O love that I know
you move all and you move me too
you move the waves and then bring them to shore
you shine the stars,
precious and beautiful
and I know
that you are fire
and I want, I want I you to light me too
but you are the center
have always been the center
ah you are time
the only true time there is
and you are there, I know it, I know it, I know it in me
beyond my mind, above all logic,
you are there
you are that wind that raises men
after the storm
but not me
not me, I do not know
and yet in my heart I search for you more
on this earth I sense tears and smoke
where is the love if it has never been love
but you are there, I know it, I know it, I know it in me
beyond my mind, above all logic, you are there
you are that wind that lifts men up after the storm
beyond my mind
above all logic, you are there
but in my dreams,
today I do not feel you anymore
you are the breath that lifts men up through time, your love for me
you are the breath that lifts men up
I know it, I know it,
I know it

After winning a singing competition in 1994, he made his successful debut at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. His debut album, *Il mare calmo della mia mente* (The Calm Sea of My Mind), released in 1995, quickly became a platinum record in Italy and Europe. Among his most famous songs are *Con te partirò* (The Time of My Life), *Vivere*, *Besame Mucho* and *Time to Say Goodbye*. Bocelli has collaborated with numerous international artists, including Celine Dion, Sarah Brightman and David Foster. My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
