I Muvrini sono un gruppo musicale corso formato dai fratelli Alanu e Ghijvan Francescu Bernardini, originari del piccolo villaggio di Tagliu-Isulaccia nel nord della Corsica. Cresciuti in un ambiente ricco di tradizioni musicali, i due impararono fin da piccoli le polifonie locali grazie al padre, poeta e cantante. Iniziarono a esibirsi su palcoscenici improvvisati, cantando le canzoni popolari corse. Inizialmente registrarono alcuni 45 giri con il gruppo "Cantu U Populu Corsu", su richiesta del padre di Ghijvan, che aveva fondato la formazione. Nel 1977, l'improvviso decesso del padre, un uomo che sognava una Corsica libera, spinse i fratelli a intraprendere un percorso artistico con uno scopo preciso: diffondere la cultura e le tradizioni corse, promuovere la causa di una nazione indipendente e tutelare la bellezza dell'isola. I Muvrini hanno raggiunto fama internazionale grazie alla loro musica originale che fonde elementi tradizionali con influenze moderne, diventando un simbolo della resistenza culturale corsa.
