Francesca Minutolo, known professionally as Ren, is an Italian singer-songwriter born in 1997. Her stage name derives from the Japanese word "Renge", meaning "Lotus Flower". Influenced by Asian culture and the element of water (being a Scorpio), Ren has always loved music, performing in talent competitions since she was young. After a period of uncertainty and personal difficulties, she rediscovered her passion thanks to the support of musician friends with whom she formed the band "The Charmers" and the homonymous musical cultural association. In 2015, Ren released her single "A Stento", written by Luigi Greco, which tells her personal story and the difficulties of youth unemployment. Currently, she collaborates with several Calabrian musicians and is establishing herself as an independent artist.
