Nicola Braccia nasce a Roma il 25 dicembre 1987 a San Basilio, difficile quartiere della periferia romana, in cui ancora vive, che ha una lunga storia di creatività legata a forti iniziative culturali ma soprattutto alla musica e che ha visto emergere artisti come Alessandro Mannarino, Ultimo, Fabrizio Moro e tanti altri. In questo centro di vitalità della musica romana Nicola trova il suo habitat naturale e stimolante per coltivare la passione per la musica che esiste da sempre, già quando da piccolo comincia a cantare e suonare la chitarra. Per molti anni Nicola si dedica all'attività live nei locali romani, a diretto contatto con il pubblico raccogliendo consensi e consigli di chi lo nota e lo spinge verso un percorso cantautorale, incoraggiandolo a lavorare sulla scrittura per cantare e pubblicare pezzi suoi, così mentre continua a suonare dal vivo, costruisce il suo percorso di ricerca per mettere a fuoco la sua "urgenza" autorale. Scrive canzoni sue e inizia anche a collaborare con altri autori, guardando e interpretando la realtà di tutti i giorni e i sentimenti veri che attraversano la sua vita in modo sincero e onesto, partendo da esperienze personali ma in cui molti si possono riconoscere, scegliendo il genere pop per esprimere a pieno la sua anima. Nei primi mesi del 2020 esce il suo primo singolo "Solo adesso so chi sei" arrangiato da Roberto Guarino. Nello stesso anno l'incontro con il produttore romano Gianni Errera e arriva il suo secondo inedito "Dimmi che". L'incontro umano e professionale con Gianni Errera continua con la produzione di "Ad aspettare chissà" brano intenso scritto a quattro mani con Claudio Zilli fuori dal 1° aprile 2022.
