Ninfea, pseudonimo di Asia Strangis, nasce a Lamezia Terme (CZ), il 28 Agosto del 2004. Si avvicina alla musica a soli 7 anni, grazie al coro del paese; per lei la musica è una forza insostituibile, una cura potentissima per l'anima delle persone. Si forma in canto lirico e pop attraverso lezioni private ed, a 14 anni, debutta come cantautrice, intraprendendo anche, l'anno successivo, lo studio del pianoforte, da autodidatta. Si trasferisce con la famiglia a Volano (TN) e nel 2020, affiancata dal Maestro, compositore e producer R. Ricciari, inizia a realizzare i primi brani inediti dalle sonorità pop melodiche, trovando poi la sua dimensione ideale nel pop-rock. Timbrica dolce, ma incisiva e personalissima, unita ad una maturità autorale rara da riscontrare data la giovanissima età, sono i segni distintivi di Ninfea e della sua musica che le hanno consentito di arrivare sin da subito dritta al cuore degli ascoltatori e di farsi notare dagli addetti ai lavori. Nel corso della sua giovane, ma corposa carriera, partecipa e giunge finalista a svariati concorsi canori, come il Tour Music Fest 2019, il Trofeo Nilla Pizzi 2020 ed aggiudicandosi la vittoria, per il miglior brano inedito al Festival Voci D'Oro del 2020 come miglior brano inedito, avendo anche la preziosa possibilità di partecipare ad un nuovo percorso formativo presso il prestigioso C.E.T. di Mogol. Nel 2020 esce la prima release ufficiale di Ninfea, "A testa alta", accompagnata dal videoclip ufficiale e seguita, nel 2021, dal secondo singolo, "Mumbai", il cui video colleziona, in pochissime settimane, oltre 15mila views. Ogni esperienza vissuta in musica è per Ninfea motivo di crescita, personale e professionale, da cui attinge nuovi spunti per i suoi progetti artistici, che ad oggi, possono contare su una produzione di alto livello con un ampio repertorio di inediti pronti per essere pubblicati, alcuni dei quali vantano l'accompagnamento del celebre quartetto d'Archi Archimia (già per Elisa, tour 2019). Il 2021 è il momento del terzo singolo, "Ad occhi aperti", un brano dal respiro tipicamente pop rock, che riconferma non soltanto la caratura vocale dell'artista, ma anche la sua maturità autorale. Grazie a dedizione, impegno, sacrifici ed alla sua passione per la musica, Ninfea viene oggi riconosciuta come una delle più brillanti stelle nel firmamento del nuovo cantautorato femminile italiano.
