Niko, al secolo Nicola Lattanzio, è un cantautore e polistrumentista italiano nato a Rieti che cresce con la musica come compagna costante. La scoperta della sua passione avviene presto, tra viaggi in auto cantando a memoria le hit italiane degli anni '80 e lezioni private di chitarra classica. A soli dodici anni entra a far parte del coro Giovanni Pascoli della sua città, dove suona la chitarra e inizia ad esibirsi pubblicamente. Nel 2000 intraprende un percorso di studio vocale con Lorena Scaccia (metodo di Nora Orlandi), approfondendo anche dizione e presenza scenica. Due anni più tardi si affaccia per la prima volta a un palco in qualità di cantante, grazie alla manifestazione benefica "Natale in Musica", conquistando l'attenzione del pubblico. Inizia così un percorso fatto di prove, scrittura e concerti nei locali del Lazio. Dal 2004 al 2006 rinnova la sua presenza a "Natale in Musica", ma sente il bisogno di dare voce alle proprie emozioni scrivendo i primi brani inediti. Nel frattempo si forma alla Nuova Accademia Musica e Spettacolo di Rieti, studiando pianoforte, teoria e armonia, e avvia una collaborazione con Luca Vincenti Mareri Tosoni, con cui inizierà la produzione del suo primo album. Nel 2009 realizza su commissione una canzone per bambini allegata a un libro, mentre nel 2011, con "Le storie di Panfilo", entra nel circuito radiofonico nazionale. Nel 2012 arriva la collaborazione con il produttore Walter Babbini e la realizzazione dell'EP d'esordio presso i Revolver Studios di Guidonia, dove suonano musicisti di fama nazionale. Nel 2015, vince il "Premio alla miglior Presenza Scenica" di Sonic Factory e, nel 2025, con il singolo "Anime Perse", inaugura un nuovo capitolo del suo cammino artistico. Un ritorno intimo e necessario, capace di toccare e attraversare il presente con delicatezza, lasciando spazio al silenzio e alle domande che spesso restano senza risposta.
