Am Ende vom Tal,
Von den Bergen umragt,
Steht ein uraltes Haus,
Von Wind und von Wetter zernagt.
Jahrhunderte lang
Gab's da Freude und Leid,
Aber nun steht es leer,
Ausgeliefert der Zeit!

The Kastelruther Spatzen are a German musical group specializing in Bavarian folk music, formed in 1983 in Castelrotto (Kastelruth) in South Tyrol.
