Hugues Aufray (nato Hugues Jean Marie Aufray il 15 giugno 1934 a Parigi) è un cantautore francese di grande successo, noto soprattutto per le sue canzoni folk e pop. Dopo aver studiato musica classica al Conservatorio di Parigi, Aufray ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '60, ottenendo rapidamente popolarità con brani come "Les Feuilles Mortes" (1963) e "La Maison en Petits Cubes" (1964). Il suo stile musicale è caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, testi poetici e un'interpretazione calda e coinvolgente. Aufray ha collaborato con numerosi artisti francesi e internazionali, tra cui Yves Montand e Françoise Hardy. Nel corso della sua lunga carriera, ha pubblicato oltre 30 album, vendendo milioni di copie in tutto il mondo.
