Raul Santos Seixas (1945-1989) è stato un cantautore, chitarrista e musicista brasiliano considerato uno dei più influenti artisti della musica rock nazionale. Nato a Salvador, Bahia, Raul iniziò la sua carriera musicale negli anni '60 con gruppi come i 'Os Mutantes'. Nel 1972 pubblicò il suo primo album da solista, 'Krig-ha, Bandolo!', che segnò l'inizio di una carriera di successo. La sua musica era caratterizzata da un mix di rock psichedelico, samba e influenze folcloristiche brasiliane, spesso con testi filosofici e provocatori.
