J-Ax, real name Alessandro Aleotti (Milan, August 5, 1972), is an Italian rapper and singer-songwriter. He began his musical career in the 1990s as the lead vocalist of the hip hop-crossover group Articolo 31, founded with Vito Perrini, known as DJ Jad. The duo achieved great success with albums like "D.N.A." (1998) and "In the Name of..." (2000), characterized by innovative sounds that helped define the Italian music scene of the time.
