Heartworms

Ooooh
There's too much blood in my alcohol
There's too much blood in my alcohol
There's too much blood in my alcohol
Ooooh
Demons generally enter in
Demons generally enter in through my ears
I don't like what I hear
I don't like what I hear
I don't like what I see
I don't like what I see
Ghosts vomit over me
Ghosts vomit over me
Ghosts vomit over me
Liars through my eyes
There's too much blood in my alcohol
There's too much blood in my alcohol
Can't get enough to numb me
Can't get enough to numb me
Can't get enough to numb me
Can't get enough to numb me
There's too much blood in my alcohol
There's too much blood in my alcohol There's too much blood in my alcohol
Demons generally enter in through my ears
Demons generally enter in through my ears
Each beat feeds the heartworms
Each beat feeds the heartworms at the heart of me
At the heart of me
There's too much blood in my alcohol (Can't you get enough to numb me?)
There's too much blood in my alcohol (Can't get enough to numb me)
There's too much blood in my heart
In my heart (It's preventing coagulation)
I'm faithful that this stagnation's feeding my heartworms
Feeding the heartworms
The demons generally enter in through my ears
It all feels off of me
Ghosts vomit over me
Ghosts vomit over me
Ghosts vomit over me, over the old me
This knife's gonna make some young woman a fine husband
This knife's gonna make some young woman a fine husband
This knife's gonna make some young woman a fine husband
This knife's gonna make some young woman a fine husband

Biografia

Coil was an English experimental music group active from 1982 to 2004. Founded by John Balance (also known as Jhonn Balance) and Peter Christopherson (Sleazy), the duo explored diverse musical genres, including industrial, ambient, noise, and electronic music. The name Coil derives from the spiral shape present in nature, an element that for Balance represented the universality and pervasiveness of sound. Coil is considered one of the most influential industrial music groups of all time, known for its dark, experimental, and often unsettling atmospheres. Their works are characterized by a complex combination of electronic sounds, samples, guttural voices, and lyrics that explore themes such as spirituality, mysticism, sexuality, and death. Among their most representative tracks are "Horse Rotorvator", "Ostia" and "The Ape of Naples". Besides Balance and Christopherson, Coil collaborated with numerous artists, including Thighpaulsandra, Drew McDowall, and Ossian Brown.
