Gli ArtemisiA nascono nel novembre del 2006 nella provincia di Gorizia. Componendo pezzi originali di matrice rock in lingua italiana, partono subito registrando un demo per poter partecipare al 1° concorso di ?Musica in Cantina? che li porterà in finale a Buttrio come secondi classificati, al Summermusiclive( il concerto è visibile su myspace), al Musicarci giudicandosi il secondo posto. Dopo svariati concerti in regione, due interviste a Lattemiele, fanno passare gli Artemisia per radio con il singolo L'aliante, registrato presso StudioMax di Gorizia e su Radiogorizia 1 con ben 3 brani inediti in rotazione per un mese. Al Festivalband di Buttrio, vengono giudicati, ancora una volta, al secondo posto. Contattati in ottobre 2007 dalla casa discografica Videoradio di Milano, nel mese di novembre entrano nello studio di registrazione Henry Stills di Andrea Rigonat (chitarrista di Elisa ) per registrare il loro 1° cd ufficiale dal titolo ArtemisiA con 10 brani inediti . A distanza di un anno, si ritrovano nuovamente in studio per il loro secondo lavoro dal titolo "Gocce d'assenzio" sempre distribuito dalla Videoradio che comprende 11 brani inediti e riceve molteplici positive recensioni da blasonate riviste quali: Rockerilla, Hard and Heavy e da parecchi siti on line specializzati. Nel frattempo, si concentrano sulla promozione del nuovo lavoro girando in varie radio e facendo live promozionali. Nel 2011 lasciano la band il batterista Matteo Macuz e il bassista Fabio Corsi ed entrano a far parte degli ArtemisiA Gabriele Gustin alla batteria e al basso Ivano Bello.
