Il Sogno della Crisalide è un progetto musicale nato nel 2013 dall'estro creativo di Vladimiro Modolo, autore di musiche e testi. Il nome del gruppo deriva da una rivista di psicologia e cultura intitolata "Il sogno della farfalla", dove il termine "Crisalide" rappresenta l'evoluzione continua della natura umana. Inizialmente, il sound del Sogno della Crisalide si collocava nella scena cantautorale di fine prima decade del nuovo millennio. L'artista ha suonato in locali romani come i Citofoni, Circolo degli Artisti, Wishlist Club, Init e Locanda Atlantide, introducendo artisti come Edda, Non Voglio che Clara e I sei ottavi. Nel 2015, il brano "Colpa della fame", ispirato alla vicenda di Stefano Cucchi, ha vinto il premio nazionale Augusto Daolio per il miglior testo. Il Sogno della Crisalide ha partecipato ai primi tre memorial Stefano Cucchi condividendo il palco con artisti come Giancane, Muro del Canto e Mannarino. Il primo album, "Vie d'uscita", è uscito nel 2017. Nel 2020, durante la pandemia, ha pubblicato il singolo "Migliori di così?" affrontando il tema dell'essere umano costretto a vivere in cattività a causa del Coronavirus. Il secondo album, caratterizzato da un sound più elettronico, atmosfere vintage e testi impegnati ma sbarazzini, è uscito nel 2024 con la collaborazione di Manuele Fusaroli alla produzione. Il singolo "Le tue scuse", dedicato alla fuga dei cervelli all'estero, è stato presentato a Largo Venue a Roma e a Casa Sanremo 2024.
