MET è il nome d'arte di Mattia Pellicoro, cantautore e chitarrista pugliese, di stanza a Milano. Appassionato di scrittura nonché di poesia, nel 2012 frequenta uno stage formativo per cantautori al CET di Mogol. Successivamente vive un'esperienza in Spagna pubblicando nel 2014 il brano "Noche de Erasmus" ed esibendosi in svariati club della Spagna. Il 2014 è anche l'anno dell'avvio di un nuovo progetto, dal nome Mattia Costa y Calle Club che fonde cantautorato pop italiano con ritmi funky. Nel 2017 è invece la volta del progetto Mattia y Andres, mediante quale si esibisce in molte venues della capitale spagnola. È il 2019 l'anno di un'ulteriore evoluzione artistica, in cui MET riscopre uno spirito cantautorale di stampo melodico, che lo porta a pubblicare nel 2020 il singolo "La Strega", presentato in anteprima alla finale di Area Sanremo, notevolmente apprezzato dagli addetti ai lavori. Inoltre, MET ha scritto un libro, intitolato "Ko Lanta". Attualmente la sua attenzione artistica è rivolta al progetto "Dove sei tu" che vedrà la luce tra maggio e novembre 2024.
