Il progetto Menervah nasce a Cosenza nel 2020 a seguito di un annuncio pubblicato da Tony Prince (ex membro dei ViolHate, gruppo thrash/death metal, e Isaz Corp, gruppo gothic rock), chitarrista e maggior compositore del gruppo e dal suo incontro con il batterista Umberto Russo, ex membro dei Madness Lane. Dopo un periodo di assestamento e cambi di Line-up, entrano nel gruppo Antonio Orrico, alla voce, ex musicista dei Monkeys of tomorrow, Synchronoise e Incroci; Luca Valentino alle tastiere, musicista dei Cambio (gruppo svizzero di rock progressivo), Luca Bruno alla chitarra ritmica (ex chitarrista di Skeggie di follia) e Mattia Bazzarelli al basso. Il nome del gruppo deriva da Minerva, divinità romana della lealtà in lotta, delle virtù eroiche, della guerra giusta e della saggezza, che, secondo il mito, era figlia di Giove, fonte di ispirazione di alcuni brani composti dalla band. Il gruppo nasce dalla passione per la musica dura di un gruppo di docenti con l'aggiunta del polistrumentista Luca, ex collega universitario di Tony. La musica è caratterizzata da sonorità metal nate dall'estro creativo di Tony. I testi si ispirano a tematiche perlopiù introspettive, legate al disagio, alla sofferenza, alla fantasia. Le tastiere progressive di Luca creano un'atmosfera molto poco comune nel genere e, nelle linee vocali, scritte da Umberto, Antonio e Tony, si rilevano influenze alternative e post grunge nel cantato. Al momento il gruppo è impegnato nelle registrazioni e nel mixaggio del primo album.
