Marco Crepaldi è un musicista romano. Inizia a studiare chitarra e canto in giovane età: durante il liceo studia all’Accademia “Saint Louis di Roma” specializzandosi in chitarra blues e fingerstyle. Concluso il percorso accademico, inizia lavorare come chitarrista turnista per alcune realtà romane e non: accompagna Leo Pari in tour per Italia e Europa e suona la chitarra nel suo album “Resina” (2011). A seguire pubblica gli Ep “Fango” (2012) e “Va tutto bene” (2013) dall’attitudine più cantautorale. Nel 2014 partecipa alla finale del “Premio Pigro” in onore del compianto Ivan Graziani con il brano “Io non sono bravo” dove con sarcasmo descrive alcuni lati del mondo della discografia. Il brano anticipa l’album “Punti di vista”, prevista per l’anno successivo. Negli anni a seguire suona in vari club della penisola, appassionandosi a sonorità hip-hop e rap. Produce il progetto Crepax con il brano “La mia guerra” in cui affronta tematiche antropologiche legate al problema del razzismo. Nel 2018 riscopre il genere più intimista e cantautorale, vince il premio internazionale “Cremona Acoustic guitar Village” e il “Montesilvano pop-rock festival”. Pubblica il brano “Amore in abbondanza” (2019), firmando con l’etichetta indipendente Mea Record Company. Nel 2021 pubblica l’album “Mudik” anticipato dal singolo “Oceano”, che lo introduce al mondo dell’it-pop. Nel 2022 pubblica l’Ep “In termini di mondo”, dove affronta il tema della salute mentale. Tra i riferimenti principali cita Edoardo Bennato, Pino Daniele e Jimi Hendrix. Il singolo “Paranoia hotel” anticipa una serie di altri brani che usciranno dopo l’estate che andranno a far parte di un album in uscita a primavera 2024, un lavoro che vedrà al centro le chitarre che saranno un elemento imprescindibile dalla canzone e dalle sonorità elettroniche.
