Matteo Sica, classe 1998, è un cantautore romano di genere Pop soprannominato il Pop-Poeta. Da pochi giorni ha vinto il Premio del Pubblico per Play Music Stop Violence, contest internazionale che si è svolto a Piazza del Popolo ed organizzato da Giovani per la Pace con la comunità di Sant’Egidio alla presenza di circa 4000 persone. Un live che l’ha riportato alle emozioni del 2018 e 2019 quando vinse il Deejay On Stage ed al Deejay On Ice di Radio Deejay. Nel 2022 ha già all’attivo due brani a tinte urban: RUGGINE, feat. D’Art, uscito il 13 maggio e PARADISO INFERNO, feat. Emez uscito il 4 marzo. Nel 2021 ha pubblicato il brano PER TUTTE LE VOLTE, diventato un vero e proprio inno alla rinascita ed al “brindare” al superamento dei propri ostacoli, spesso inserito in spot motivazionali. Nel 2020, durante la pandemia, ha presentato il suo Ep d’esordio “Nel Paese dei Balocchi” con cui ha ottenuto circa 500.000 plays su Spotify, E’ stato ospite di Fiorello a Viva RaiPlay nel dicembre 2019 e Bollino Rosso ad Edicola Fiore nel 2016. Nel 2020 è stato finalista nel contest di Aw Lab come artista selezionato da Madame ed Ensi. Studia canto, chitarra e pianoforte sin da piccolo ed ha iniziato a comporre all'età di 14 anni, finalista nel 2016 al contest della Disney "Zootropolis Music Star". Sempre nel 2016 si esibisce a Milano con Rds nel 2016, presenta il brano “Fino a tre” sul red carpet dell’Ariston durante il Festival di Sanremo e viene ripreso dalle telecamere di Rai3 per Blob. Dall’uscita del suo Ep d’esordio del 2020 è stato più volte definito dalla stampa il cantautore POP-Poeta, per via dei suoi testi dalle evocazioni poetiche e scevri da parolacce e riferimenti ambigui.
