Biografia

LIIA, born Livia Jurickova, is a Slovak-born Italian singer-songwriter. Growing up immersed in music and emotions, she began participating in a sacred music ensemble at the age of seven and later pursued theater during her adolescence. To hone her vocal skills and broaden her artistic horizons, she became the frontwoman of both a swing band and a pop rock group, collaborating with Slovak artists like renowned guitarist Juraj Topor. Her passion for the arts extends beyond singing: she studied dance and acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse in Los Angeles. Upon arriving in Italy, she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to writing original songs, drawing inspiration from her experiences and past struggles. In 2020, she launched her solo project, blending her background with contemporary productions that emphasize her sensitivity and eclecticism. LIIA's music is romantic, a sensory caress that touches the heartstrings with the delicacy of a suspended touch, oscillating between indie, soul, and pop influences. Her debut EP, "Flowering Trees", is a collection of five songs united by the thread of human imperfections and emotions. LIIA explores themes like loneliness, separation, and heartbreak, while simultaneously giving space to positivity and hope, both for herself and her listeners. A polyglot artist with a cosmopolitan soul, she tells the world through the lens of truth, listening to her heart beyond any judgment.
