Tosca è un'artista italiana nota per la sua voce potente e versatile, capace di spaziare dal pop al jazz, passando per il cantautorato. Nata in Italia, inizia il suo percorso artistico nel teatro con una piccola compagnia romana. È in un piano bar che viene notata da Renzo Arbore, il quale la introduce alla televisione con la trasmissione "Il caso Sanremo". Nel 1989 canta nella colonna sonora del film "Scugnizzi" di Nanni Loy e nel 1992 esce il suo primo album omonimo. Partecipa al Festival di Sanremo nella categoria giovani con il brano "Cosa farà Dio di me". Tosca collabora con artisti di grande prestigio come Lucio Dalla, Riccardo Cocciante, Renato Zero e Ron, con cui vince il Festival di Sanremo 1996 con la canzone "Vorrei incontrarti fra cent'anni". Nel 1997 pubblica l'album "Incontri e passaggi", contenente brani scritti da Ennio Morricone, Lucio Dalla, Chico Buarque e altri. Vince la Targa Tenco come migliore interprete. Tosca è anche una doppiatrice di successo, prestando la sua voce al film d'animazione "Anastasia". Nel 1997 interpreta il ruolo principale nel musical "Sette spose per sette fratelli". Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi: "Carcere 'e mare", "Cosa farà Dio di me", "Vorrei incontrarti fra cent'anni", "Nel respiro più grande".
