Vinicio Capossela is an Italian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and writer born in Naples in 1965. Considered one of the most original and poetic songwriters in contemporary Italian music, Capossela stands out for his ability to weave refined and imaginative lyrics with folk and traditional melodies, influenced by sounds from the Mediterranean world and Eastern Europe. His music is characterized by a strong sense of storytelling, often inspired by popular stories, legends, and myths, which are reinterpreted in a personal and contemporary key.
