Francesco Monti, known professionally as Francois, was born on December 15, 1980, in Rome. His first steps in the music world were as a DJ at the age of 12, playing at private parties and events in the Rome area. At 15, he began performing in various clubs in the area, especially during Sunday afternoon parties for teenagers. In 2000, he decided to expand his professional experience by working in clubs and organizations throughout Italy: Insomnia (Pisa), Metropolis (Naples), Angels od Love (Naples), Diabolika (Rome), Alibi (Rome), RedZone (Prato). In 2004, he opened the inaugural party of the “Pacha” in Sharm El Sheik (Egypt), marking the beginning of his international experience. In 2006, he moved to the Balearic Islands (Spain), where he still collaborates with various clubs and organizations today. During his career, he has participated in important consoles, such as that of Amnesia (Ibiza). He has collaborated with prominent international DJs like Stefano Noferini, Claudio Coccoluto, Emanuele Inglese, Paolo Bolognesi, Roger Sanchez, Carl Cox, Wally Lopez, and many others. The musical genre that characterizes Francois is House Music, with stylistic influences from its derived genres: Club, Seep, Tech, and Minimal. In recent years, he has focused on producing Tech House, Deep House, and Techno.
