In una scena underground vasta come quella di Cosenza e dintorni, tutta basata sull'essere indie, minimal, ma superfighi inside, festini di tendenza, lustrini e paillettes, non poteva proprio mancare una band di "brutti sporchi e cattivi" come i White Socks. Ragazzi che mettono rabbia, cuore fegato e polmoni a servizio di una macelleria sonica di livello. C'è Seattle nella mente e nei suoni e c'è un rock crudo, duro, viscerale e istintivo. C'è lo spettro del grunge e la volontà di ravvivare quello che è stato il sound più vero degli ultimi 25 anni. La voglia di suonare, di festeggiare brindando alla vita e alla birra li incatena alla sala prove per lungo tempo. La band nasce nel 2012 con l'intento di suonare del rock duro, viscerale e istintivo. L'autostrada su cui viaggia la band è una linea di congiunzione con il sudore e la rabbia del grunge, Seattle, il rock anni novanta. Dopo un intenso anno di sala prove, registrazioni e birre la band partecipa al Tnt music contest vincendolo, fino ad arrivare a condividere il palco con i Rezophonic di Mario Riso. La scorsa estate pubblicano il primo singolo, Shitty Bunch. Un ritmo serrato e incalzante fa da tappeto a chitarre puramente rock ?n' roll il sottofondo perfetto per esprimere il pensiero della band sulla società, crudo. Il brano è una critica ironica al cittadino moderno/modello che si lamenta di qualsiasi cosa che riguarda la società in cui vive ma con questo non fa altro che aumentare il terrore diffuso dal sistema, proprio perché non sempre sceglie la problematica di cui lamentarsi. A settembre 2013 pubblicano il videoclip di "Shitty Bunch" e nello stesso mese Emilio Leonetti prende il posto di Vincenzo Messina alla batteria. Il 2014 è anno di svolta per la band che pubblica altri tre singoli, Out of the Light, Pastime Paradise (tributo a Stevie Wonder) e Doghouse, riscuotendo un certo successo di pubblico e assurgendo a ruolo di band cardine specialmente da un punto di vista live, vista la grinta e il forte impatto che il gruppo riesce a ottenere durante i live act, cosa che cosente anche di suonare sul RedBull Tour Bus con i Lacuna Coil e di aprire il concerto agli Uzeda per il Festival Turn Over. In ottobre la band che è attualmente impegnata in sala di registrazione programma l'uscita del suo primo ep.
