Vasco Barbieri, compositore e filosofo, nasce la prima volta il 6 agosto 1985, la seconda volta il 30 aprile 1993, dopo un coma, che lo riporta allo stato iniziale. A 7 anni torna a casa con gravi danni alla vista, si avvicina al pianoforte ed esegue ad orecchio "Caruso" di Lucio Dalla, senza aver mai suonato prima. Da quel momento la musica diventa per lui un luogo e rifugio sicuro che gli permette di conoscere se stesso e costruire il suo nuovo mondo. A 9 anni i genitori lo mandano a studiare in America in una Music School nell'Ohio, in cui scopre per la prima volta la musica classica. Successivamente studia 3 anni presso l'Actor Studio di Roma, dove si convince che la realtà sociale, come il teatro, si compone di un gioco di ruoli e di maschere. Proprio per questo motivo si iscrive alla facoltà di Filosofia e nel 2013 consegue la laurea. Nel frattempo lavora come Web Designer e si esibisce in numerosi locali della scena romana. Durante uno dei suoi live viene notato dalla regista Sibilla Barbieri che lo presenta a Maqueta Records. L'etichetta discografica decide di pubblicare i primi singoli "A little bit of present" e "Convert". Il 15 maggio 2020, dopo la quarantena forzata, è uscito "Love Remains", brano che parla di emozioni vissute che diventano tatuaggi sulla pelle dell'anima e il 25 settembre "Hey" il cui video ha ricevuto, lo scorso 4 giugno, il riconoscimento con il Premio alla Resilienza al Festival Internazionale Tulipani di Seta. Tutti i brani sono contenuti in "The Turtle" l'album d'esordio di Vasco Barbieri.
