After Forever was a Dutch symphonic metal band with strong progressive metal influences. The group was characterized by the use of both soprano vocals and death grunts. Formed in 1995, they released six studio albums, including their debut "Scarlet Tears" (2001) and the acclaimed "Remagine" (2007). The band was led by vocalist Floor Jansen, whose powerful and versatile voice was a distinctive element of their sound. After a long career, After Forever disbanded in February 2009. Some of their most representative songs include "Equilateral", "My Spirit" and "Digital Heart".
