Bob Dylan, born Robert Allen Zimmerman in Duluth, Minnesota on May 24, 1941, is an American singer-songwriter, composer, writer, poet, painter, actor, and radio host. Considered one of the most influential figures of the last fifty years in music, popular culture, and literature, Dylan has profoundly marked the history of American music.
