Henri Salvador (Paris, July 18, 1917 – Paris, February 13, 2008) was a French singer and songwriter of Cuban descent. Considered one of the greatest French artists of the 20th century, Salvador traversed various musical eras, from jazz to chanson, passing through rock and Latin music. His unique voice, characterized by a warm and deep timbre, and his energetic performances made him an icon of French culture.
