Nato nel 1966 in provincia di Milano fin da giovane ha frequentato con passione l'oratorio del suo paese, Vanzago, diventandone poi animatore ed educatore di gruppi di adolescenti e giovani. Dall'1986 al 1988 ha svolto il servizio civile presso la FOM - Fondazione Oratori Milanesi, rafforzando così il cammino, già iniziato nel suo oratorio, che mette l'animazione dei ragazzi al centro dell'azione educativa come insostituibile esperienza di trasmissione dei valori cristiani. Ha partecipato a molti incontri organizzati dalla Fimcap (Federazione Internazionale dei Movimenti Cattolici ad Azione Parrocchiale) come responsabile del Settore Estero della FOM, durante i quali ha avuto modo di scambiare esperienze ed acquisire nuove tecniche sia nel campo dell'animazione che nell'utilizzo del canto religioso. Ha da sempre avuto una forte passione per la musica dedicandosi fin da giovane all'apprendimento di diversi strumenti: chitarra, basso elettrico, tastiera, flauto traverso (sotto la guida del maestro Stefano Rossi) e successivamente al flicorno baritono. Da trent'anni è l'autore di canti religiosi e non, destinati a ragazzi, adolescenti e giovani. I suoi canti sono utilizzati nelle celebrazioni liturgiche e hanno trovano spazio successivamente nei repertori di molte parrocchie in tutt'Italia. Nel 2012, durante l'incontro del Santo Padre Benedetto XVI con i cresimandi della Diocesi di Milano (60.000 persone), allo stadio G. Meazza di Milano, il suo canto "Sei Fuoco e Vento" è stato scelto per l'apertura della manifestazione. Attualmente continua a collaborare con la Fondazione Oratori Milanesi, scrivendo canti (a sfondo pastorale/liturgico e di animazione) a supporto dei progetti e dei temi che ogni anno vengono proposti agli oratori.
