Five Iron Frenzy was a Christian ska band formed in Denver, Colorado, in 1995 and disbanded in 2003. Considered pioneers of the 'ska punk' Christian genre, they gained a significant following in the 1990s thanks to their energetic music and positive lyrics. The group was known for its lively sound that blended elements of ska, punk rock, and pop, with influences from gospel and folk. Among their most famous songs are "The Ballad of the Brokenhearted", "Love is a Battlefield" and "This Is Our Time". Five Iron Frenzy released five studio albums: "The End Is Near", "All the Hype That's Worth", "Until the Day We Die", "Our Own Kind of Beautiful" and "The Fire Inside". The band disbanded in 2003, but its members continued to pursue individual musical projects.
