nata a Urbino il 4 maggio 1970, dove vive insieme alla sua famiglia ed alla passione, sempre più costante e crescente, per la musica. Diplomatasi all?Istituto Magistrale, frequenta contemporaneamente il conservatorio "G. Rossini" di Pesaro. Lo strumento che predilige è il flauto : la licenza di solfeggio la sprona a continuare i suoi studi : Come flautista suona per qualche mese con l?orchestra del conservatorio, armonizzando con facilità innata il suo strumento intorno a vari generi di melodie musicali. La musica, infatti, è il suo mondo, di qualunque genere essa sia. Adora Mina e Aretha Franklin. Della musica ama soprattutto il canto (nell?ambito della musica leggera preferibilmente italiana). La sua passione per la musica unita all?ambizione, la portano a partecipare, fin da piccola, a diverse manifestazioni canore, arrivando nell?86 alla prima esibizione a Castrocaro, alla seconda edizione nell?87 e ad una terza nell?88, fino a giungere alla quarta nel ?90 (ultima cronologicamente, ma non per questo meno importante). Valeria è considerata dagli esperti una delle voci più interessanti della musica leggera italiana "giovane". Il suo primo album "Vivrai" porta il titolo della canzone che Valeria ha presentato al festival di Sanremo nel ?94 classificandosi al 5º posto, nel ?95 è ancora a Sanremo con la canzone "E? con te".
