Sodom sono un gruppo musicale tedesco di thrash metal formatosi a Recklinghausen nel 1982. Considerati uno dei capofila del genere in Germania insieme a Kreator e Destruction, Sodom hanno contribuito a definire il sound grezzo, violento e diretto tipico del thrash metal teutonico. Il loro stile musicale è caratterizzato da riff aggressivi, testi oscuri e un'energia frenetica che li ha resi uno dei gruppi più influenti della scena thrash mondiale.
