Ik bün nu so veel ünnerwegens ween
un glööv mi man, de Tiet vergeiht so gau.
Wenn mi en froogt, wo´t an schöönsten weer, denn segg ik jümmers:
´Oh, dat weet ik nich mehr!´
Ok wenn´t logen is, ik heff doch jümmers wüst,
wo ik eegentlich hen gehör
Ik heff al
sopen in Kiel, harr in Leck lange wiel,
de Probstei mookt mi jümmer ganz high.
Ik heff sogor mol ´n Pries afhoolt, ut Kappeln an´ne Schlei.
Ik heff mien Auto sülvst schoben, domols dörch Bremerhoben,
un dorbi hebbt se mi sogor blitzt.
Ik heff mi jümmer freit
wenn de Wind vun Hamborg weiht.
Kinners, och Kinners, is nich so, dat mi wat fehlt.
Over Nachts alleen sünd miene Fööt so koolt, de Falten liggt deep
un ik föhl mi so olt.
Hölpt dor nu´n Kind, ode kööp ik mi´n Hund,
blots för mien Bindegewebe is so´n Kind nich gesund.
Denn is Plön sogor schöön,
sünd ji in Plön al mol ween, wenn de Wind dor so richtich dör weiht?
Ik heff mi jümmer freit
wenn de Wind vun Hamborg, de Wind vun Hamborg weiht.
Text auf hochdeutsch:
Der Wind von Hamburg (Original: I`ve Never Been To Me)
hatte in Leck Langeweile
was ich wirklich brauch was bei mir wirklich hilft
