Her music ranged from pop to jazz, passing through operetta and French chanson. Among her most famous songs are "Ciao amore ciao", "Parlez-moi d'amour" and "J'ai encore rêvé d'elle". Dalida also starred in several films, including "La Belle de nuit" (1958) and "The Day of the Owl" (1968). Her personal life was marked by ups and downs, between tormented loves and depression. In 1987 she committed suicide in Paris at the age of 54.
