Na, na, na, na, na, na, na
Wir gehn manchmal zwanzig Minuten
Die Mittagszeit nicht zu verliern
Zum Friedhof der Hugenotten
Gleich hier ums Eck spaziern
Da duftet und zwitschert es mitten
Im Häusermeer blüht es. Und nach
Paar wohlvertrauten Schritten
Hörst du keinen Straßenkrach
Wir hakeln uns Hand in Hand ein
Und schlendern zu Brecht seinem Grab
Aus grauem Granit da, sein Grabstein
Paßt grade für Brecht nicht schlecht
Und neben ihm liegt Helene
Die große Weigel ruht aus
Von all dem Theaterspielen
Und Kochen und Waschen zu Haus
Dann freun wir uns und gehen weiter
Und denken noch beim Küssegeben:
Wie nah sind uns manche Tote, doch
Wie tot sind uns manche, die leben
Wir treffen das uralte Weiblein
Das harkt da und pflanzt da und macht
Und sieht sie uns beide kommen
Dann winkt sie uns ran und lacht
Die Alte erzählt uns von Achtzehn
November revolution:
Hier schossen sich Spartakisten
Mit Kaiserlichen, die flohn!
Karl Liebknecht und Luxemburg Rosa
So muß es den Menschen ja gehn!
Lebendig und totgeschlagen
Hab ich sie noch beide gesehn!
Als ich noch ein junges Ding war
Ich bin ja schon viel zu alt!
Von hier bis zur Friedrichstraße
War alles noch dichter Wald!
Dann freun wir uns und gehen weiter
Und denken noch beim Küssegeben:
Wie nah sind uns manche Tote, doch
Wie tot sind uns manche, die leben
Da liegt allerhand große Leute
Und liegen auch viel kleine Leut
Da stehn riesengroße Platanen
Daß es die Augen freut
Wir gehn auch mal rüber zu Hegel
Und besuchen dann dicht dabei
Hanns Eisler, Wolf Langhoff, John Heartfield
Wohnt gleich in der Nachbarreih'
Von Becher kannst du da lesen
Ein ganzes Gedicht schön in Stein
Der hübsche Stein da aus Sandstein
Ich glaub, der wird haltbarer sein
Die Sonne steht steil in den Büschen
Die Spatzen jagen sich wild
Wir halten uns fest und tanzen
Durch dieses grüne Bild
Dann freun wir uns und gehen weiter
Und denken noch beim Küssegeben:
Wie nah sind uns manche Tote, doch
Wie tot sind uns manche, die leben
