Lo Stato Sociale is an Italian musical group formed in Bologna in 2009 by Alberto Cazzola, Lodovico Guenzi and Alberto Guidetti, who were then DJs at Radio Città Fujiko. In 2011 the lineup expanded with the addition of Enrico Roberto and Francesco Draicchio. Their sound, defined as indie pop with rock and electronic influences, is characterized by ironic and sarcastic lyrics that address contemporary social and political issues. Lo Stato Sociale has achieved great success in Italy thanks to songs like «Una vita in vacanza», «La fine del mondo» and «Il cielo sopra il mare».
