Mago de Oz is a Spanish heavy metal and folk metal band formed in the mid-1980s. The name of the group, which means "Wizards of Oz" with a heavy umlaut, was chosen by founder Txus as a metaphor for life: «Life is a yellow brick road on which we walk in the company of others searching for our dreams».
