Enemy lines

Ayy, ayy

This here a little story 'bout Memphis (Memphis)
That's known for murder and crime (Yup)
Everybody know him as Kilo (Mhm)
He was cool but lost his mind
He had that money and power (Power)
Pearl handle over that nine
Just know when you cross that path
You're on enemy lines

This here a little story 'bout Kilo, he worked at a corner store
Made $10.15 an hour, he ain't really wanna work no more (Mhm-hm)
He had a friend named Frankie that sold a lot of cocaine (Sup, mane?)
He had the cars and women, and gold around his chains (I got it)
He went right up to Kilo, he seen his eyes in pain (Sup?)
Kilo said he quit his job, Frankie said "Fuck that lane"
He said "I'll give you some work, I know this ain't your lane"
Kilo never sold no drugs, but welcomed right to the gang (Welcome)
Then Frankie powdered his nose, said "Kilo, take a sniff"
Kilo like "Nigga, hell nah," Frankie said "Give me my shit"
Kilo, he need that work, that's doin' it with some chicks (Yeah)
So Kilo took that straw, started snortin' them lines of them
Some days done went on by, he sober, gettin' too high
Frankie, he show up for the plug, exactly, he know why
Kilo, he bought a gun, he claimed that he got robbed
The plug, his name was Tony, he said "Y'all niggas gon' die
If y'all don't come with that money (Money)
I ain't givin' no more supply" (Hell, nah)
Kilo, he was spendin' that money (What?), and gettin' chicks to fly (Yeah)
He fell in love with a ho (Damn), next day he came to the door (Damn)
See Frankie fuckin' his girl then shot him right on the floor (Boom)
She start screamin', say "Shut up. Call Tony, I got his bread" (What)
Tony pulled up to the house, he shot him right in the head
He sniffed some more cocaine, the girl, she went to the Feds
And all of Tony henchmen reward they wanted him dead (Kill 'em)
They found where Kilo stayed, (Hey), the cops surrounded his house
They said "Kilo, we got you," (We got you), he ran and he came out
Start shootin' at the police, they shot him a hundred rounds
Then Kilo dropped his gun and fell right to the ground (Damn)
So let this here be a lesson (Lesson)
If you know that life ain't you (Ain't you)
Stick to whatever you know, or you'll be a Kilo too
