Mi volto indietro e c'è mio fratello
E poi silenzi lunghi come anni
Senza trovare ora cosa dire
Riccardo De Stefano (Rome, 1987) is an Italian music critic and musician. After a decade of activity in the field of music criticism, which includes the creation and direction of the blog ExitWell, the publication of two books (“Era Indie”, 2019; “Musica in lockdown”, 2021 for Arcana Edizioni) and collaborations with national events such as the MEI di Faenza (artistic director since 2019), De Stefano has decided to dedicate himself to music also as a performer. Although he already had experience with underground Roman formations, this time he chooses to use his full name, giving up an artistic identity for greater transparency. For him, music criticism and artistic activity are not contradictory, but two different ways of understanding and loving music. Among his most representative songs: “My City”, “Street Stories”, “The Silence Between the Notes”.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
