Mirco Olivastri è un cantautore romano nato nel 1992. La sua passione per la musica e la scrittura nasce fin da bambino, passando dalla trascrizione dei testi delle sue canzoni preferite alla creazione di pezzi originali ispirati alle sue esperienze di vita. Un passato complesso che l'artista affronta non con un'ottica negativa, ma come occasione di crescita e maturazione. Influenzato dal padre (ex speaker radiofonico) e dall'ambiente familiare, proprietari di un locale live a Roma, Mirco si avvicina al mondo della musica osservando artisti di diverse generazioni. Tra i suoi idoli figurano Fabrizio Moro, Franco Battiato, i Nomadi, gli Stadio e Lucio Battisti, influenze che si riflettono nella sua scrittura introspettiva ed intimistica. Studia chitarra da autodidatta e perfeziona le sue capacità vocali per esprimere al meglio le emozioni dei suoi testi. Nel 2020 pubblica i suoi primi due singoli ufficiali, "Il Profumo della Luna" (feat. Veronica) e "Check-In", che gli permettono di farsi notare da addetti ai lavori e di partecipare a Casa Sanremo con il brano "Fa' Qualcosa". Nel 2021 presenta "Il Cielo nientemeno", una canzone sognante e delicata, in cui esplora il rapporto tra cielo e sentimenti umani. A ottobre dello stesso anno esce "Incenso e rosa", un intenso brano dedicato alla perdita di un caro e alla sua presenza costante nell'anima. Mirco Olivastri si distingue per la sua scrittura personale dal forte impatto emozionale e per la sua voce riconoscibile, affermandosi come una delle più interessanti proposte del nuovo cantautorato italiano.
