Franco Califano (Roma, 8 luglio 1939 – Roma, 14 agosto 2013) è stato un cantautore e attore italiano. Considerato uno dei cantautori più importanti della musica italiana, Califano ha segnato la scena musicale degli anni '60 e '70 con il suo stile unico che mescolava elementi di rock, pop e canzone d'autore. Nato a Roma da una famiglia modesta, Califano iniziò la sua carriera come cantante in locali romani prima di essere notato da un produttore discografico.
