Ruggero Ricci nasce a Lugo (RA) il 13 Febbraio del 1989. Appassionato alla musica fin da bambino, dimostra fin dai primi anni di vita una forte predisposizione ed inclinazione al Soul ed all'R'n'B e, crescendo, trova la sua dimensione artistica nell'universo Pop melodico. Da sempre innamorato del bel canto e di artisti quali Amy Winehouse, Janis Choplin, Billie Holiday e James Brown, si avvicina alla scrittura come autore per altri artisti, a cui affianca la didattica, in qualità di Vocal Coach ed un percorso di maturazione personale e professionale, incentrato principalmente sull'esperienza live. Titolare di una scuola di Canto a Ravenna, Talent Scout, Direttore Artistico, giurato per svariati programmi e format TV, Ruggero Ricci partecipa anche a diversi contest e competizioni canore, tra cui Sanremo Music Awards (2013, vincitore del Premio Futura come Miglior Cantautore dell'anno), X Factor Italia (2013), Casa Sanremo (2014), Area Sanremo (2014 e 2015) e Deejay On Stage (2017). Nel 2014 pubblica "Contrasti", il suo primo album ufficiale, a cui fa seguito un tour internazionale che tocca metropoli come Londra, consentendogli di calcare palchi di rilevanza planetaria, quali, ad esempio, quello del Piccadilly Square dell'Oxford Circus e dell'Empire Casinò e di essere opening act di celebri artisti italiani, come i Nomadi. Il 2018 è la volta di "La forma delle nuove", secondo progetto full length, che porta Ruggero a spopolare su tutte le emittenti radiofoniche italiane, ad incontrare i fan attraverso un fortunatissimo instore tour e ad esibirsi in concerto nelle più prestigiose venue nazionali. Nel 2019 e nel 2020, il poliedrico artista emiliano rilascia diversi brani di successo, tra cui "Tsunami" e "Le persone non parlano", quest ultimo, in collaborazione con il giovane astro nascente del panorama rap italiano, Speed. Il 2021 si apre con la preghiera in musica "Basterà l'amore", un brano intimista e viscerale dedicato al sentimento da cui tutto prende vita, l'Amore. Da quel momento, la carriera di Ruggero Ricci è in continua ascesa, grazie ad una scrittura raffinata e diretta e ad una rara sensibilità d'animo che abbraccia l'ascoltatore con dolcezza, eleganza e calore, quel calore di cui tutti noi necessitiamo.
