Pierangelo Bertoli (1940-2018) was an Italian singer-songwriter, considered one of the pillars of traditional folk and popular songwriting. Born in Bologna, Bertoli began his career in the 1960s, collaborating with artists such as Fabrizio De André and Lucio Dalla. His musical style is characterized by the use of traditional Italian instruments, poetic and reflective lyrics that address social and political themes, and a warm and powerful voice. Among his most famous songs are "My House", "The Sky Is Blue", "The Man of the Wind" and "Without Words". Bertoli released over 20 albums in his career, achieving great success with both the public and critics.
