Dead Man Walking (DMW) è un gruppo musicale italiano formatosi nell'estate del 2006 a Milano. Il progetto, inizialmente punk-rock al femminile, vede la partecipazione di Francesca Clementi (chitarra) e Silvia "Gus" Gussoni (voce). Nel giro di pochi mesi entrano nel gruppo Francesco "Kimi" Anzini (basso) e Lorenzo "Suppo" Rainoldi (batteria), con cui i DMW iniziano a esibirsi dal vivo già nella primavera del 2007. Nel settembre 2007 Alice Zanzottera sostituisce Gus alla voce, dando inizio ad un percorso musicale di ricerca che porta il gruppo a sperimentare influenze di ogni genere. Nel 2008 incidono una demo di 3 pezzi grazie alla quale vengono notati dal produttore discografico Maurizio Parafioriti (Sony BMG). Tra il 2008 e il 2010 pubblicano due inediti prodotti da Parafioriti per SPHERIKA lab records in due compilation vendute su iTunes e Amazon: "Musica kilometri zero" (2009) e "Music Factory rock contest" (2010). Nel corso di questo periodo, i DMW lavorano in studio tra Milano e Pavia, componendo inediti caratterizzati da sonorità ruvide e ricercate, unite a testi introspettivi in italiano. Nel 2011 inizia la collaborazione con Helmuth Walter Kesten Diaz, chitarrista della provincia di Varese, che segue il gruppo nei concerti dal vivo ed in studio. Nel 2012 pubblicano il loro primo album dal titolo "Favole borderline", contenente 10 brani inediti in italiano. L'album è totalmente autoprodotto sia a livello musicale che grafico e registrato da Andrea Fantozzi. Attualmente i DMW sono attivi nella promozione del disco, proponendo la scaletta anche in versione acustica.
